Photographing the Essence of Life's Beauty

I am a Freelance Photographer. Photographing is a hobby that I have accomplished for more than 40 years. I believe Nature is the greatest subject and canvas for photographing, yet awaits further exploration and caught on still and film.

A long my journey, I've photographed portraits, pets, street arts, and events as well. Still, there is so much of life that awaits to be unfolded.

As a Photographer, I agrees to be professional, punctual, and perform in a cooperative manner in accordance with the highest standards and best practices of the photographic industry.

Consent to use any photograph is not granted.

Picture - Photography:

·       A picture is defined as a visual, design, or representation of a person, object, or scene made by various means (such as painting, drawing, or photography)

·     A photograph can be considered a picture, but a picture can also be a drawing or a painting, however, a photograph is generated by the process of photographing...

·     Photographing is the art, application, and practice of creating durable images by recording light, either electronically by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film.

Photography and the Law:

United States: Typical laws in the United States:

·     Local, state, and national laws govern still and motion photography. Laws vary between jurisdictions, as to what is legal in one place may be illegal in another.

Public property:

·     It is legal to photograph or videotape anything and anyone on any public property, within reasonable community standards. {As a legal term in the United States, community standards arose from a test to determine whether material is or is not obscene as explicated. The term may have greater specificity in legal settings where it refers to the average person's judgment on what items, such as proposed works of art, stay within the bounds of decency or violate what the average person thinks of as decent or appropriate.} Advisement; be respectful and considerate toward the subjects, if a person expresses that they'd rather not be photographed, simply don't.

·     Photographing in a public place such as a street, sidewalk or park involving candid images of people going about their daily lives, this type of photography is permitted in the U.S. under the legal premise established by the Supreme Court that there is no reasonable expectation of privacy in a public place. It is why we may be photographed or recorded many times a day by surveillance equipment, police bodycams, and anyone else with a camera.

·     Photographing or videotaping a tourist attraction, whether publicly or privately owned, is generally considered legal, unless explicitly prohibited by a specific law or statute.

Private property:

·     Photography may be prohibited or restricted by a property owner on their property. However, a property owner generally cannot restrict the photographing of the property by individuals who are not within the bounds of the property.

·     Photography on private property that is generally open to the public (e.g., a shopping mall) is usually permitted unless explicitly prohibited by posted signs. Even if no such signs are posted, the property owner or agent can ask a person to stop photographing, and if the person refuses to do so, the owner or agent can ask the person to leave; in some jurisdictions, a person who refuses to leave can be arrested for criminal trespass, and many jurisdictions recognize the common-law right to use reasonable force to remove a trespasser; a person who forcibly resists a lawful removal may be liable for battery, assault, or both.

NOTE! Ordinarily, its not legal to photograph underage people without parental or legal guardian permission in a non-public place, location, space, etc.
